Yali refers to the beautiful Ottoman era wooden seaside mansions seen along the Bosphours. Many of these homes were originally intended as a summer house and some date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. DJP developed this bar name as a tribute to one of the endearing features of the Bosphorus, the architecture along its shores.

The in-room dining menu featured photography shot in the city’s Grand Bazaar and separate Turkish and English versions were produced.
